Please read the terms and conditions carefully before engaging our services. By signing the quote or approving the service via our request form or text message, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are binding upon acceptance of any service from Blue Water Restoration.
1. Deposit:
• All deposits are non-refundable if the Client cancels within 48 hours of the scheduled service date.
2. Inspection Fees:
• The minimum inspection fee is $499 plus 13% tax, which is required to begin the booking process and the remaining balance on the signed quote is to be paid upon the technician(s) arrival to the Client’s property address
3. Travel Fees:
• Travel fees for services rendered outside London, Ontario are calculated based on the number of kilometers traveled ($1/km) and will be added to the total service cost.
4. Client Responsibility for Fragile Items:
• Clients must secure or remove fragile, breakable, or irreplaceable items (e.g., cash, sentimental items, antiques, etc.). Blue Water Restoration is not liable for damage, loss, or theft of such items during the service.
5. Drywall Cutting, Plastering, and Painting Service:
• Any drywall cutting, plastering, or painting provided as part of our service will be considered a rough finish unless explicitly agreed upon in the contract.
• Fine-finish painting or complete drywall refinishing is not included unless specified and contracted separately.
6. Equipment Usage Charges:
• Air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers are included in the service for the first three days. Beyond three days, these machines will incur an additional charge of $1500/day unless otherwise stated in the contract.
• The client is responsible for ensuring timely payments for any extended usage of equipment.
7. Furniture Moving:
• Moving furniture is an additional service starting at $499, with final costs determined based on the scope of work.
8. Same-Day Cancellation Policy:
• If the client cancels their appointment on the same day as the scheduled service, they will be charged the full amount outlined in the quote or invoice.
9. Tentative Quotes:
• Quotes provided by Blue Water Restoration are tentative and subject to adjustment upon the completion of the inspection.
10. Weekend Service Charges
• Services booked on weekends will incur an additional service charge, which will be outlined in the quote .
Liability Limitations
• Blue Water Restoration is not responsible for damages or issues resulting from pre-existing conditions, structural defects, or undisclosed hazards within the service area.
• We are not liable for any damages to items or furniture not removed or secured by the client prior to service.
Additional Terms
1. Clients are responsible for providing safe and accessible work environments for the service team.
2. Any delays caused by client actions (e.g., lack of access to the property) may result in additional fees.
3. Blue Water Restoration reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
By signing the quote which is done by pressing the green button that says “APPROVE” sent via the “Jobber” platform through text message to you, the Client, you acknowledge and agree to all the above terms and conditions.
